Fewer than half of applicants complete our full vetting process. That selectivity is intentional — and it is what makes the Bliss designation meaningful.

Identity Verification

Every applicant submits a government-issued ID. We verify identity using a secure third-party verification platform before any background screening begins. This step ensures we are working with real individuals, not aliases or fabricated credentials.

FCRA-Compliant Background Check

All applicants undergo a comprehensive criminal background check conducted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This includes national criminal database searches, sex offender registry checks, and county courthouse records in all jurisdictions where the applicant has lived or worked.

Insurance Verification

All Bliss professionals are required to carry a minimum of $1 million in general liability insurance. We verify the policy directly with the carrier and list Bliss Pool Service as a certificate holder. Coverage is re-verified upon each annual renewal to ensure no lapse in protection.

Technical Skills Assessment

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in water chemistry analysis, equipment diagnostics, safety protocols, and service documentation. We do not accept self-reported credentials without verification — licenses, certifications, and references are all independently confirmed.

Ongoing Performance Monitoring

Approval does not end the process — it begins it. Every service visit is rated by the client. We monitor aggregate performance scores, response times, and service report completeness on an ongoing basis. Professionals who fall below our standards are placed on a performance improvement plan or removed from the network.

After each visit, your professional files a report including chemical readings, tasks completed, equipment notes, and any recommendations.
